Before you run out and jump on the hoodia band wagon you need to be aware that not all hoodia is created equal, there are over 13 types of hoodia plants and only one of these plants so far is thought to contain p57 an active ingredient which acts as a appetite suppressant and is a steroidal glycoside and that is found only in the hoodia gordonii plant.

Mike Adams of News Target, estimates that 80 percent of hoodia products are contaminated or counterfeit. It is impossible to know if a hoodia product contains pure hoodia and the active ingredient, unless it has been tested by an independent laboratory.

Here is an exact quote from Richard Dixey, CEO of Phytopharm who holds the patent on p57 when he appeared on 60 minutes

“The patent is on the application of the plant as a weight-loss material. And, of course, the active compounds within the plant. It’s not on the plant itself,” says Dixey.

So no one else can use hoodia for weight loss? “As a weight-management product without infringing the patent, that’s correct,” says Dixey.

From the above statement it would seem that you can sell a Hoodia Gordonii supplement, you just can’t say it is for weight loss or a appetite suppressant. I believe this is why many of the best Hoodia supplements have very plain labels that just say “Hoodia Gordonii” but don’t say anything about using it as a weight loss or appetite suppressant supplement.

So if you see on the label weight loss, appetite suppressant or hoodia diet pill this should send up a red flag that it might be 100% hoodia but made from one of the other hoodia plants as I’ve said not all hoodia is created equal, so it’s easy to see why many diet pills manufacturers just mix Hoodia to their already junk packed pills.

If you are going to take hoodia gordonii as tablets or pills, you may be surprised to know that you usually absorb some where between 2-20% of its dietary value. The reason for this is because of the binders which are needed to hold the pills or tablets to together.

Hoodia in a liquid form can be absorbed almost immediately, and the majority of people will experience its effects in just a few minutes after swallowing it. Liquid Hoodia has a much higher absorption rate as opposed to the pill/tablet while it can provide you with the same or better results than the pill or tablet even at a lower dosage.

A comparative study shows:

a) Liquid form of Hoodia Gordonii is much easier to take in, whereas tablets and capsules can be difficult to swallow for both minors and older people.

b) The liquid Hoodia absorbs immediately into your blood system, which helps you feel its effect almost instantaneously, while capsules and tablets can take a few hours to experience minimal effect.

With millions of overweight people jumping from one diet fashion to the next, the thought of taking a pill to “curb cravings” might sound like a dream come true. While pure Hoodia has been proven to stop you from wanting to eat there are literally hundreds of products claiming to contain this latest “magic bullet” in the battle against obesity. This might not mean much until you realize just how scarce Hoodia is. Consider that Hoodia Gordonii is only grown in certain parts of the desert, and after the recent media exposure there is no way for the supply to meet the demand.

What does this say for all those diet pills claiming to contain Hoodia? Well it means most of them are lying. In fact pure Hoodia is very expensive and hard to get so when you see the latest and greatest “weight loss pill” claiming to contain Hoodia odds are that there are only trace amounts that will have little or no effect or were made from one of the other type hoodia plants. What can you do to make sure your getting the highest quality Hoodia Gordoni in your weight loss supplements? Find the list of ingredients and make sure Hoodia is the only one listed, and that it contains at least 400mg.

Remember that any diet pill made from 100% pure Hoodia is going to cost about $40-$65 for a month’s supply. When you check out the companies make sure they have the certificates to back up their claims.

Be sure and remember that not all hoodia is created equal.

Buy Butalbital apap caffeine

Hoodia gordonii (pronounced HOO-dee-ah) is also called hoodia, xhooba, khoba, Ghaap, hoodia cactus, and South African desert cactus.

Hoodia is a cactus that’s causing a stir for its ability to suppress appetite and promote weight loss. 60 Minutes, ABC, and the BBC have all done stories on hoodia. Hoodia is sold in capsule, liquid, or tea form in health food stores and on the Internet. Hoodia gordonii can be found in the semi-deserts of South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, and Angola.

Hoodia grows in clumps of green upright stems and is actually a succulent, not a cactus. It takes about 5 years before hoodia’s pale purple flowers appear and the cactus can be harvested. Although there are 20 types of hoodia, only the hoodia gordonii variety is believed to contain the natural appetite suppressant.

Although hoodia was “discovered” relatively recently, the San Bushmen of the Kalahari desert have been eating it for a very long time.

The Bushmen, who live off the land, would cut off part of the hoodia stem and eat it to ward off hunger and thirst during nomadic hunting trips. They also used hoodia for severe abdominal cramps, haemorrhoids, tuberculosis, indigestion, hypertension and diabetes.

In 1937, a Dutch anthropologist studying the San Bushmen noted that they used hoodia to suppress appetite. But it wasn’t until 1963 when scientists at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), South Africa’s national laboratory, began studying hoodia.

Initial results were promising — lab animals lost weight after taking hoodia.

The South African scientists, working with a British company named Phytopharm, isolated the active ingredient in hoodia, a steroidal glycoside, which they named p57. After getting a patent in 1995, they licensed p57 to Phytopharm. Phytopharm has spent more than $20 million on hoodia research.

Eventually pharmaceutical giant Pfizer (makers of Viagra) caught wind of hoodia and became interested in developing a hoodia drug. In 1998, Phytopharm sub-licensed the rights to develop p57 to Pfizer for $21 million. Pfizer recently returned the rights to hoodia to Phytopharm, who is now working with Unilever.

Much of the buzz about hoodia started after 60 minutes correspondent Leslie Stahl and crew traveled to Africa to try hoodia. They hired a local Bushman to go with them into the desert and track down some hoodia. Stahl ate it, describing it as “cucumbery in texture, but not bad.” She lost the desire to eat or drink the entire day. She also didn’t experience any immediate side effects, such as indigestion or heart palpitations. Stahl concluded, “I’d have to say it did work.”

One of the first studies of Hoodia Gordonii was done in the UK on obese patients. Half of the volunteers were given Hoodia Gordonii, the other half were given a placebo. The subjects were allowed to read, watch television and eat. After 15 days it was found that those taking Hoodia had reduced their calorie intake by 1000 calories a day. Despite having unlimited access to food, the Hoodia subjects lost weight.

Is Hoodia Safe?

Since Hoodia is a plant (versus a man-made chemical), it is completely natural and experts say it is safe to eat. Scientists have been studying Hoodia for almost 10 years and have not found any side effects. (Not to mention the San Tribesman who have been eating Hoodia for years with seemingly no ill effects).

What Can You Do?

One way to tell if a Hoodia pill is real is to look for a document called the C.I.T.E.S. Certificate (The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora). Since the Hoodia plant is a protected plant species it can only be sold to an exporter who has this certificate.

Hoodia

Hoodia weight loss products are being frantically bought by desperate dieters worldwide. However, is weight loss with Hoodia really possible or is it a scam? This article will discuss the truth about the Hoodia weight loss diet frenzy

Before I go into my review of Hoodia weight loss products and diets it’s important to have some understanding about how Hoodia weight loss products came onto the market in the first place.

The incredible popularity of this product is a direct response of broadcasts on such highly regarded programs as Today Show, 60 Minutes and the BBC (not to mention Oprah). The powerful weight loss properties of the Hoodia Gordonii plant have been well-known and widely utilized by the bushmen of the Kalahari desert for centuries. They had the Hoodia weight loss secret all to themselves until in the mid 1990s when the Council For Scientific And Industrial Research undertook a detailed research study on the many native plants and bush foods eaten regularly by the “Sans Bushmen”.

What the CSIR soon found out was that the Hoodia Gordonii cactus plant is not only not poisonous but it also contains some incredibly powerful weight loss and appetite suppressing properties This detailed research was found as a result of watching how animals reacted when eating the Hoodia cactus plant. Incredibly enough, when rats took Hoodia Gordonii they lost all desire to eat and started to lose weight with Hoodia!

Following on from the substantial claims of fast weight loss numerous Hoodia Gordonii diet products have ascended the marketplace to become one of the fastest selling and fasting growing weight loss products in an marketplace where billions of dollars are spent annually on weight loss products. The truth is that people all over the world are bigger than ever. This is because we are less active in our lives and as a result of the food choices that we make.

Before deciding on a Hoodia product to aid with your weight loss it is critical to understand about more the Hoodia weight loss cactus plant. Once the CSIR had managed to isolate the potent in the Hoodia cactus plant that was responsible for appetite suppressing and increasing the body’s ability to burn fat they called it p57. The CSIR then onsold the licence to P57 to a British pharmaceutical organisation known as Phytopharm. Read my shocking Hoodia weight loss diet now at the website below before you buy any Hoodia weight loss product!

It is somewhat alarming that there are such a number of Hoodia weight loss and diet products available for consumers when Phytopharm holds the exclusive rights to the P57 molecule found in the Hoodia Gordonii plant. While Phytopharm actually is the patent holder P57 there are a number of patent laws that come into play.

The truth is that while only Phytopharm can legally extract the potent P57 molecule found in the Hoodia Gordonii plant the whole Hoodia Gordonni plant is never able to be patented itself. As a result of this other companies have the legal right to produce their own Hoodia weight loss supplements and products legally without holding the licence to P57, however, my understanding is that they are unable to put on their labels that their Hoodia product assists with weight loss in any way.

With such a number of products and Hoodia weight loss diet pills now available from the Hoodia cactus plant it is absolutely vital that consumers don’t fall for cheap, ineffective Hoodia weight loss imitations and that they ensure that they only use PURE South African cactus Hoodia Gordonii products for maximum weight loss results. Click on the link below now to learn the best Hoodia weight loss products for fast, safe weight loss.

buy Fioricet, Tramadol, Ultracet, Carisoprodol

Let me ask you… If Hoodia weight loss diet pills were really the miracle cure to weight loss that the marketers would have you believe, and since millions are using these pills regularly, why are millions not losing weight? If you were to believe all of the hype, you would think that hoodia gordonii diet pills are the miracle cure to obesity and weight loss that will save the world. Ahh, if it were only that easy to lose weight!

Let’s look at this further… Does Hoodia really work for lasting weight loss, or even have any effects whatsoever for losing body fat? Let’s search a little deeper beyond all of the marketing hype and see if hoodia gordonii actually has any legitimate basis for losing weight.

The fact is that you cannot search the internet or listen to the radio without being bombarded by Hoodia Gordonii advertisements promising all sorts of miraculous claims. The reason I wanted to bring up the subject of Hoodia and it’s legitimacy is that I don’t want any of my readers to waste their money and fall for this scam.

Now let me preface this by saying that not all companies selling hoodia gordonii are scammers. Some are legitimate and honest and actually selling real Hoodia. However, with the lack of federal regulation on supplements, it is quite easy for shady smaller companies to get away with selling diet pills that don’t even have any hoodia gordonii at all in them. Also, we are not even saying anything regarding whether Hoodia Gordonii (if it were the real stuff) actually does work or not for losing weight in the long run.

Sure, the Hoodia ads sound amazing… no exercise necessary, just sit on your couch, pop a couple hoodia weight loss diet pills, and you’ll start melting body fat off your bones like a furnace… Please, give me a frickin break! Let us get clear this up… Quick fixes NEVER work, and they NEVER will work in the future. Even if a miracle weight loss diet pill is developed in the future, there will always be an adverse side effect… it’s simply against the laws of nature, and the homeostasis that your body wants to stay in.

I can’t even tell you how many people I get writing me and they’re totally sold on this Hoodia Gordonii stuff by the slick marketing and hype. They buy it and they get no weight loss results whatsoever. Well, there was a good $50 or $100 down the drain! I can’t blame them for being suckered… I mean these scammers are pretty good marketers.

You’ll see in a minute that a large percentage of what is labeled and sold as hoodia gordonii may not even contain ANY Hoodia at all. A lot of it is completely counterfeit.

At first glance, it might appear that this supposed “magical hoodia herb” has some promise. All of the hype started a couple years ago when a popular night-time network TV show presented Hoodia as a new and potentially exciting weight-loss diet pill. Well, it didn’t take long for the internet and late night advertising scammers to follow suit, fill some capsules with any old crap they could find, and start spamming bazillions of people around the world saying that their diet pills were the magical answer to weight loss and the dream body they’ve been looking for their entire life.

Hoodia Gordonii has been used by the Bushmen of Southern Africa for centuries as an appetite suppressant for their journeys. The fact is that hoodia in its natural state might actually work as a decent appetite suppressant (although that doesn’t necessarily mean it will help with long lasting weight loss). The problem lies in the fact that the supplement industry is not federally regulated in the US, and any scamster can put whatever they want in a capsule and sell it for huge profits.

The fact is that the quantity of Hoodia Gordonii being sold throughout the world in supplement stores and online FAR EXCEEDS the amount that is actually produced. Hoodia Gordonii is only grown in a small area of southern Africa and is a very slow growing plant, and there is a much larger quantity of “supposed hoodia” sold than is produced. Obviously, this means that a large amount of what is sold as hoodia is simply counterfeit.

Basically what they put in the pill doesn’t even have to be Hoodia, because ever since the Dietary Supplement and Health Education Act (DSHEA) of 1994, there is no regulation or testing to assure that what their label claims is actually in the bottle. Now even if they did put real Hoodia Gordonii extract in the diet pills, there is also no scientific proof at this point that these small doses that they are using will actually cause any type of permanent weight loss at all in humans.

Even if hoodia were to actually help lessen your appetite, that is not always a good thing, as it may simply deprive your body of the nutrition it needs to function properly and maintain lean muscle mass, all of which regulates your overall metabolism. If you did lose weight, this would not be a good weight loss, as you would lose muscle and end up with a slower metabolic rate, which would lead to excess weight gain in the future.

So you’re left with these major problems:

1. A certain percentage of the Hoodia Gordonii being sold out there might not even be real Hoodia. You simply could be buying any old junk powder that they fill the pills with.

2. Even if certain brands are honest (which a lot of the bigger companies actually ARE honest), and actually put the amount of Hoodia that they claim in the bottle, there is no proof that those quantities are sufficient enough to lessen the appetite (compared to the raw hoodia plant that the bushmen eat), nor is there any evidence that hoodia will result in permanent and healthy weight loss.

So do Hoodia weight loss diet pills really work? The answer is that no one really knows for sure, however with all of the uncertainties that we’ve highlighted here, it is highly unlikely that Hoodia will create lasting weight loss for you, even if you do get lucky enough to get the “real stuff”.

As you’ve probably heard me say a million times before… the bottom line is that there are no “miracle pills in a bottle”. If you want to be truly healthy, lean, and strong for life, it takes some actual real exercise and a nutritious diet full of natural unprocessed healthy foods… a healthy diet that you can live with for life! There are no substitutes, but there are plenty of scams if you want to throw away your money.

If you’re ready to stop searching for the miracle diet pills and find out a true solution to weight loss and a lean sexy body for life, you have some legitimate options below.

Fioricet

What is Hoodia Gordonii and How it Can Lose Your Weight?

Latin Name: Hoodia gordonii

Other Names: hoodia, xhooba, !khoba, Ghaap, hoodia cactus, South African desert cactus

Hoodia (pronounced HOO-dee-ah) is a cactus-like plant that grows primarily in the semi-deserts of South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, and Angola.

In the last few years, hoodia has been heavily marketed for weight loss and has become immensely popular.

Although there has always been a demand for diet pills, after the ban on the herb ephedra, the market was particularly ripe for the next new diet pill.

Much of hoodia’s popularity stems from claims that the San Bushmen of the Kalahari desert relied on hoodia for thousands of years to ward off hunger and thirst during long hunting trips.

They were said to have cut off the stem and eat the bitter-tasting plant.

Hoodia gordonii grows in clumps of green upright stems. Although it is often called a cactus because it resembles one, hoodia is actually a succulent plant.

It takes about five years before hoodia gordonii’s pale purple flowers appear and the plant can be harvested.

There are over 13 types of hoodia. The only active ingredient identified so far is a steroidal glycoside that has been called “p57″. Stahl ate it, describing it as “cucumbery in texture, but not bad.” She reported that she lost the desire to eat or drink the entire day. She also said she didn’t experience any immediate side effects, such as indigestion or heart palpitations.

Where is Hoodia Gordonii Found?

Hoodia gordonii is sold in capsule, powder, liquid, or tea form in health food stores and on the Internet.

How Does Hoodia Gordonii Work?

Despite its popularity, there are no published randomized controlled trials in humans to show hoodia is safe or effective in pill form.

One study published in the September 2004 issue of Brain Research found that injections of p57 into the appetite center of rat brains resulted in altered levels of ATP, an energy molecule that may affect hunger. The animals receiving the P57 injections also ate less than rats that received placebo injections. However, this was an animal study and injections in the brain are different from oral consumption, so it cannot be used to show that oral hoodia can suppress appetite in humans.

The manufacturer Phytopharm cites a clinical trial involving 18 human volunteers that found hoodia consumption reduced food intake by about 1000 calories per day compared to a placebo group. Although intriguing, the study wasn’t published or subjected to a peer-review process, so the quality of the study cannot be evaluated.

What are the Side Effects of Hoodia?

There have not been any side effects reported from eating Hoodia or from taking the P-57 molecule. Remember, for thousands of years that Bushmen have eaten Hoodia Gordonii plants with no ill side effects.

How do I Know if it’s Pure Hoodia?

There are widespread reports of counterfeit hoodia products. Mike Adams of News Target, estimates that 80 percent of hoodia products are contaminated or counterfeit. It is impossible to know if a hoodia product contains pure hoodia and the active ingredient, unless it has been tested by an independent laboratory.

Butalbital Blog

There are hundreds of hoodia diet pills to choose from but after reading this brief Unique Hoodia review, I think you’ll see why this brand is different from the rest. It isn’t perfect, of course no supplement is, but it is one of the better products out there.

The one thing I’ve learned researching the hoodia market now for over two years is that most are a waste of money. They are either outright fakes or they contain so little hoodia gordonii, the ingredient necessary to suppress appetite, that they don’t do anything but burn a hole in your pocket.

When it comes to hoodia supplements, you need to be very careful on what you buy to avoid getting scammed. One thing I can assure you about Unique Hoodia is that you won’t get scammed. In fact, if used correctly and if expectations are realistic, this brand can be a helpful weight loss tool.

As I was putting this Unique Hoodia review together, I thought there were five things that jumped out at me that made this brand so different from all the other products out there. Here are those five things.

1. 100% Authentic and Pure Hoodia Straight from South African Farmers

While many claim to be authentic hoodia diet pills, only a handful actually contain hoodia from South Africa, which is the primary source of hoodia gordonii. The company responsible for producing Unique Hoodia, however, takes pride in having its stock of hoodia gordonii come directly from South African farmers. They do away with the middlemen to ensure that in fact their product contains authentic hoodia gordonii from South Africa.

2. Fresh Hoodia and Highest Quality

With their commitment to providing their customers with the freshest hoodia gordonii, they turn their stock around within one month. Unlike other manfacturers that may buy enough stock to last them a year or more, the company behind Unique Hoodia makes sure that whatever they buy from their farmers is only in storage for no more than a month. Customers in turn get a supplement that is about as fresh as they can be.

3. Lab-Tested and Certified

Unique Hoodia comes with all the necessary certifications to attest to its high quality: the Organics Annex Certificate, which confirm that the farms where the hoodia was grown have met the USDA requirements, the CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) Certification, which is necessary to import the product out of Africa, and the Certificate of Analysis (COA), which shows proof that the hoodia used in the pill itself is pure and authentic.

4. Unique Packaging for Potency, Freshness, and Convenience

Even in the packaging, Unique Hoodia is tops. They pack 460mg (vs. the usual 400mg) of hoodia gordonii in every capsule. Instead of using a bigger capsule and thus making it harder for customers to swallow, they figured out a way to cram an extra 60mg of hoodia in a smaller capsule. Instead of the usual bottles, the capsules in this product are individually packaged in blister packs to maintain their freshness and to make them handy to carry around.

5. 6 Month Money Back Guarantee

Only brands that are truly confident of their product will offer a money back guarantee of some kind and Unique Hoodia Gordonii is no different. However, what makes this brand so different is the length of their guarantee. Most hoodia companies have a 30-day guarantee, but a six month guarantee is unheard of. In fact, I don’t know of any other company that provides this kind of guarantee.

If you’re thinking about trying hoodia diet pills, then Unique Hoodia should definitely be on your short list as it is one of the better supplements available right now.

There are discounts on this brand from time-to-time that brings the price down to less than $30 per bottle! Read the detailed review and get the latest prices of Unique Hoodia here.

Don’t get scammed! Before you buy any hoodia diet pill, be sure to grab my free 35-page report on hoodia here. You’ll learn everything there is to know about hoodia in this short and sweet report to avoid being scammed and to get the most from your hoodia supplements.

Buy Butalbital online apap caffeine

You’ve seen the name everywhere. Hoodia Gordonii has taken the weight loss world by storm. Being touted as the next miracle weight loss pill, Hoodia is now being put into everything from multivitamins to Trimspa.

But does Hoodia work?

Considering the debacle that was Ephedra, consumers are right to be cautious about this new weight loss pill. Does Hoodia actually work to help you lose weight? Does it really do what the pill manufacturers say?

Well, Hoodia has been shown to have some specific effects in the area of weight loss. But there are certain things you should know before running out to buy the latest Hoodia pill from your drug store.

Here are 3 ways Hoodia helps you lose weight and 3 other things you should know to make Hoodia work best for you.

#1) Hoodia Makes You Physically Less Hungry

Pure Hoodia contains a molecule scientists called “P57″ which, they believe, is responsible for making you feel full.

Normally, when you eat food, this food turns to glucose. When the glucose in your body rises it eventually signals to your brain (the hypothalamus) that you are full.

It is believed that “P57″ molecule in Hoodia mimics the effect that glucose has on your brain, telling part of your brain (the Hypothalamus) that you feel full. Consequently, you are physically less hungry.

One of the first studies of Hoodia Gordonii was done in the UK on obese patients. Half of the volunteers were given Hoodia Gordonii, the other half were given a placebo.

The subjects were allowed to do nothing but read, watch television and eat. After 15 days it was found that those taking Hoodia had reduced their calorie intake by 1000 calories a day. Despite having unlimited access to food, the Hoodia subjects lost weight without feeling hungry.

#2) Hoodia Turns Off The Desire To Overeat

Some people have reported that not only does Hoodia make them feel full, but it also shuts off their desire to eat.

As many of us know, we can feel physically satisfied but still eat for a variety of reasons like emotions, timing and social influence. In fact emotional eating is actually responsible for more overeating than physical hunger.

Hoodia can help some people lose weight by quenching this desire to eat and breaking the emotional attachment to food.

By quenching this emotional attachment to food, Hoodia can help the individual to develop new emotional coping skills that don’t include using food for comfort.

Note: Hoodia may not have this effect on everyone, however many people have reported having less of a desire to eat after taking Hoodia.

#3) By Turning Off Your Appetite Hoodia Allows You To Start Making Positive, Healthy Food Choices

How many times have we planned to eat healthy and then that old, ugly hunger rears it’s ugly head and demands food NOW. We end up reaching for anything that’s fast, easy and usually unhealthy.

By turning off your appetite, Hoodia allows you to start to make positive, healthy food choices. It takes the pain out of building new healthier eating choices. Since you probably don’t want to be on Hoodia forever, this is a great way to lose weight and transition your eating to a healthier, lighter diet – with less pain and deprivation.

So those are 3 ways Hoodia Gordonii can help you lose weight. Does that mean that it will? Not necessarily. In order for Hoodia to help you achieve your weight loss goals there are several factors you must consider:

1) Make Sure You Buy From A Pure Source.

Unfortunately, there are scam artists who are taking advantage of the current demand for Hoodia by packaging fake Hoodia, fillers or even sawdust – and then selling it as Hoodia.

Look for genuine South African Hoodia from a seller who displays both a C.I.T.E.S certificate on their website along with Lab Assays and testing of their Hoodia pills. If you’re not sure about which Hoodia brand to buy, do more research until you feel comfortable with your decision.

2) Make Sure You Are Taking Enough Hoodia.

The correct dosage varies depending on whom you talk to but most people start with about 400 mg three times a day before meals. They then increase the dosage up as high as 1000 mg three times daily until they find the dose that works for them.

Also, give it several days for the Hoodia to take effect before you increase your current dose.

3) Make Sure You Consult Your Doctor Before Taking Hoodia or Making Any Change To Your Diet or Exercise Routine.

This one is a given but surprisingly many people don’t do it and it can result in you wasting your time and effort for no good reason. If, for example, you have a medical condition that makes it hard to lose weight, Hoodia may not work for you as you’d hoped. Talk to your doctor before trying anything new.

So those are 3 ways Hoodia works to help you lose weight and reach your goals. Hoodia does work. Make sure you follow these suggestions and you’ll be well on your way to weight loss success with Hoodia.

Tramadol ultracet

For many years dieters have been looking for a weight loss supplement to help them lose weight. Unfortunately, most have failed to live up to their high expectations – until now. Hoodia diet pills are some of the most popular diet supplements on the market today.

Like all supplements, however, hoodia diet pills are not regulated. Companies can make virtually any claims about their products so it is very important to be informed and to know what to look for when you are ready to buy hoodia.

Not all hoodia supplements are the same. In order for them to be an effective appetite suppressant, you need to buy hoodia diet pills that contain authentic hoodia gordonii. There are a lot of scams on the Internet with most of the products containing very little hoodia gordonii – if any at all. Here are ten things to look for so that you don’t get scammed.

Independent Lab Testing

Reputable companies will allow for ongoing random and anonymous testing of their supplements by an independent lab. They will also provide documentation of their lab test results on their websites. If you can’t find any evidence of lab testing, then that’s a red flag. You should research the company further before making a purchase of their products.

Contain Only Hoodia Gordonii

Look for hoodia diet pills that contain 100% authentic hoodia gordonii. Read the labels carefully and avoid products that have unnecessary fillers, additives, or stimulants.

Look For the Word None

When you are looking to buy hoodia supplements, none, is an important word. Look carefully at the label when comparing hoodia products and pay close attention to the “other ingredients.” The best hoodia weight loss diet pills will have no other ingredients listed. You should only see the word, none.

Origin of the Hoodia

Hoodia gordonii has grown wild in the Kalahari Desert for centuries and it is the most potent hoodia harvested. If it comes from any other place, chances are you are not getting authentic hoodia gordonii.

Know Your Hoodia Varieties

Hoodia is a cactus-like plant, known technically as a succulent, and there are 13 varieties. Only the hoodia gordonii variety has the appetite suppressant qualities. None of the other varieties have an effect on appetite. Do not buy hoodia supplements with any other variety.

How the Hoodia is Processed

Only the peeled stem of the hoodia plant contains the active ingredient, P57, responsible for suppressing appetite. The best diet pills will contain only the biologically active part of the plant, with no fillers or the inactive stems, flowers, and roots. Look for companies whose products only use the peeled stem.

Potency of the Hoodia Used

In order to reach maximum potency, this treasured succulent must be carefully cultivated for at least 3 1/2 years. Immature plants will not be as potent. Try to find out how long the plant is cultivated before it is harvested and processed. Only the best companies will provide details on how their hoodia is cultivated and processed.

Avoid Cheap Hoodia Diet Pills

Authentic hoodia gordonii is scarce because there is a limited supply and a very high demand for it. A kilo of the hoodia plant costs well over $250 compared to just $18 a kilo just a few years ago. It is very expensive and continues to go up in price.

Genuine hoodia gordonii diet pills average around $60 per bottle so if the deal sounds too good to be true, chances are it is. It goes without saying to avoid any company that offers free trials. It is just too expensive to give away for free.

Look for CITES Certificates

A valid CITES certificate is legally required for companies who wish to export hoodia gordonii from South Africa. Only a handful of companies have these certificates. Those that do will display them on their websites. If you can’t find a certificate or if you can’t clearly read the certificate online (fakes are easy to spot as they are usually blurred), then they don’t use authentic hoodia gordonii in their products.

Be Cautious of Consumer Advocate Websites

When you buy hoodia online you’ll see numerous websites that proclaim to be “independent hoodia researchers” or “hoodia experts.” Most of these sites are often set up with the sole purpose of selling their own products. They’ll provide detailed reviews and “research” on all the various hoodia diet pills on the market and then will conveniently recommend their own products.

By following these ten simple tips, you’ll be assured to find a hoodia diet pill that works!

Viagra

Have you purchased Pure Hoodia Gordonii Diet Pills?

Hoodia Gordonii Diet pills have the ability to do wonders for the obese to slightly overweight. Stories featured on ABC News, 60 Minutes, CNN and the BBC have all reported on Hoodia. Hoodia gordonii is not a drug or an herb, but a plant. When consumed, this plant is a completely natural and safe alternative for weight loss, giving appetite suppression and fewer calorie consumption without causing anxiety. Due to its positive results and growing popularity, suppliers are going to drastic measures to find and procure their own source of Hoodia. It is this reason that makes it necessary for the consumer to be knowledgeable about the product they are intending to purchase.

There is an incredible surge in interest for Hoodia in the diet supplements market. Every Hoodia supplier on the internet is promising safe, and side effect free appetite suppression. But are these promises true? Only sometimes. The market has been flooded with Hoodia gordonii diet pills that are less effective than original, pure Hoodia. The reason this occurs is due to the scarcity of the naturally occurring Hoodia gordonii plant.

South African suppliers were not prepared for the demand on Hoodia by the western market, and companies took advantage of this. Although claiming their product contains 100% Hoodia, they started putting in filler products like silica, leaves, sawdust, etc. to both bring down the cost of production and decrease the effectiveness of the product. This has left many Hoodia consumers with a bad taste in their mouth, having spent a fair amount of money on a non-genuine, non-effective Hoodia product. While it requires some time to find original, pure Hoodia gordonii, it is worth the effort to be sure that when you do purchase Hoodia diet pills, they are of the utmost best quality.

How can I find Pure Hoodia Gordonii?

Pharmaceutical firms such as Pfizer and Phytopharm have attempted to make and patent a synthesized version of the P57 molecule found in the Hoodia Gordonii plant, which is responsible for appetite suppression. From all the research done to date, it is not economically feasible. This means that as of now, pure Hoodia gordonii is the only place you can find the naturally occurring P57 molecule, natures most potent appetite suppressor.

To ensure that you are not wasting time and money on fake Hoodia diet pills, do check that the company can provide to you the following items to guarantee its purity:

1.The company has a Certificate of Analysis. This shows that the substance has been analyzed and is in fact pure Hoodia Gordonii.

2.The company has ongoing, anonymous testing by a chemical lab that can provide a Certificate of Analysis. Some companies get tested once at a known time, ensuring that the lab receives real Hoodia for the test. After testing, they switch to an inferior product to sell to consumers. Only a company with nothing to hide would allow their product to be ordered anonymously and continually tested.

3.The company has a CITES certificate- Convention on the International Trade in Endangered Species of the Worlds Fauna and Wildlife – ensuring legal export of the product from South Africa. There is a place on the certificate saying “valid until (date)”- make sure it is still valid.

Don’t forget to check these approvals on the website, to ensure you are buying real Hoodia gordonii. While there are various species of Hoodia, it is only the Hoodia gordonii that comes from South Africa that has been shown to contain the appetite suppressing P57 molecule.

Research a little more for Pure Hoodia

Once you find a Hoodia supplier, get in contact with them and ask questions. If the website doesn’t display any contact details, it’s better to stay clear, for this is not a sign of a legitimate organization.

When you get in contact with the company staff and get your questions answered, go the extra mile and find some customer testimonials and reviews about the company. This will help you collect more information about the supplier and gage if they are safe to buy from.

If the site you are visiting gives proof of authenticity and discloses its full ingredients list, you can be more confident in your purchase that your money will not be wasted. However, be skeptical of any “other ingredients” claims on the label, as this is a commonly used loophole to add fillers into the product and still claim it as pure Hoodia.

While clinical studies have shown that there are no side effects or medical interactions from taking Hoodia gordonii, it is recommended to consult a doctor before you begin using Hoodia as part of a healthy diet.

Cure obesity naturally, use Hoodoba Pure Hoodia Gordonii Diet Pills.

Buy Butalbital online apap caffeine

In this article we will look more specifically at the science behind hoodia and how it has been studied as an appetite suppressant. We will also examine some theories on how hoodia is able to suppress your appetite.

What evidence is there that Hoodia works as an appetite suppressant?

For thousands of years the Bushmen of South Africa having been eating Hoodia Gordonii to fight off hunger during their week long hunting trips. For the Bushmen there is no question as to the appetite suppressant power of Hoodia Gordonii – it is a simple fact of life – if you are going on a long journey you chew on hoodia to avoid hunger.

While the Bushmen did not do formal clinical studies, there is thousands of years of real world evidence that eating Hoodia works as an appetite suppressant. To the Bushmen eating hoodia to suppress appetite is as clear as drinking water to quench thirst.

There is also a growing body of journalist who can attest to the powers of hoodia. Here is a piece of the transcript from 60 Minutes (aired in Nov 2004):

So how did it work? Stahl says she had no after effects – no funny taste in her mouth, no queasy stomach, and no racing heart. She also wasn’t hungry all day, even when she would normally have a pang around mealtime. And, she also had no desire to eat or drink the entire day. “I’d have to say it did work,” says Stahl. – Leslie Stahl reporting on CBS News 60 Minutes

Tom Mangold, a correspondent from the BBC News reporting the following after eating Hoodia from the Kalahari Desert…

At about 1800hrs I ate about half a banana size (piece of hoodia gordonii) – and later so did my cameraman. Soon after, we began the four hour drive back to Capetown.

The plant is said to have a feel-good almost aphrodisiac quality, and I have to say, we felt good. But more significantly, we did not even think about food. Our brains really were telling us we were full. It was a magnificent deception.

Dinner time came and went. We reached our hotel at about midnight and went to bed without food. And the next day, neither of us wanted nor ate breakfast.

I ate lunch but without appetite and very little pleasure. Partial then full appetite returned slowly after 24 hours.

- Tom Mangold, BBC News reporting on 5/30/03

It is very rare for such established journalist to be so positive on a food supplement. Normally, the media is quick to find fault with any new dietary supplement and point out potential problems. Not only is Hoodia is being positively “field tested” by journalists, they are some of the most respected journalist in their field.

Were any clinical studies done with P57?

Yes. In 2001 Phytopharm completed a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study in overweight, but otherwise healthy volunteers using the P57 extract from Hoodia gordonii. The participants were split into two groups, one group received the P57 and the other received a placebo. Both groups were told to continue their normal diet and exercise. The results were as follows:

When comparing the P57 group to the Placebo group:

The P57 group had a statistically significant reduction in body fat The P57 group had a statistically significant reduction in caloric intake The P57 had no adverse side effects On average the P57 group ate about 1,000 calories a day less than those in the control group. To put that in perspective, the average American man consumes about 2,600 calories a day; a woman about 1,900 Were there any side effects from taking Hoodia or P-57?

There have not been any side effects reported from eating Hoodia or from taking the P-57 molecule. Remember, for thousands of years that Bushmen have eaten hoodia gordonii plants with no ill side effects.

How can P57 (and Hoodia Gordonii) really suppress appetite to such a great extent?

It is believed that Hoodia (and more specifically the p-57 in the hoodia) imitates the effect glucose has on nerve cells in the brain.

Basically, hoodia fools the brain into thinking it’s full when it’s not. So, your brain sends the signal that it is full and this cuts your urge to snack on unhealthy food. In fact, hoodia is more powerful than glucose in telling the brain that you are full. Here is how Phytopharm’s Dr Richard Dixey explained how P-57 actually works:

“There is a part of your brain, the hypothalamus. Within that mid-brain there are nerve cells that sense glucose sugar. When you eat, blood sugar goes up because of the food, these cells start firing and now you are full. What the Hoodia seems to contain is a molecule that is about 10,000 times as active as glucose. It goes to the mid-brain and actually makes those nerve cells fire as if you were full. But you have not eaten. Nor do you want to.”

-As reported by BBC News Correspondent – Tom Mangold – 5/30/2003

So I will never be hungry if I eat a hoodia plant supplement?

Not exactly. We all need food to survive, when we feel hungry because we do not have enough food for the body to function this is called real hunger. You can not completely starve your body no matter how much Hoodia you eat. At some point your brain will figure out you do need food to function.

However, when you feel hungry because your insulin levels are bouncing all over the place, this is called hormonal hunger. It is this hormonal hunger which does in most people’s diets. When our blood sugar levels spike and fall, we crave more sweets and carbohydrates. This is why you might crave ice cream at 3am.

The idea of Hoodia gordonii is to use it to stop snacking because of hormonal hunger. You want to continue to eat meals when you have real hunger, but you want to eliminate all the snacking due to hormonal hunger. While hoodia can help eliminate both types of hunger, we feel it is unhealthy skip meals. The real advantage we see to hoodia is to eliminate cravings and snacks when you do not need to eat food.

I hear about diet pills all the time – what make Hoodia different?

Most diet pills and supplements work by trying to increase the rate at which our body burns fat. If you think about our body as a machine, calories provide the fuel. If you run the machine (body) hotter, faster and harder – you burn more fuel (calories). I think you can see the problem here – run any machine too hot and hard for long and you can have problems. This was the problem with ephedra. Many people who took ephedra supplements lost weight, but there were serious health risks. Things like strokes and heart attacks were too real a possibility when using ephedra.

What makes Hoodia supplements so different is they really work to prevent weight gain. As much as everyone argues about which is better low carb or low fat – in the end losing weight is a simple equation. Take in less calories than you burn and you will lose weight. It is really simple math, you can not gain weight if you consume less calories than you burn. Hoodia gives you a powerful weapon to fight hunger and therefore take in less calories. No need to run the body hotter or faster or harder, simply you consume less calories and therefore lose weight.

Buy Fioricet, Tramadol, Carisoprodol
